Art Deco pitcher

Jug / Art Deco Pitcher. Stencil decoration in orange and burgundy. An octagonal-shaped earthenware jug, unsigned, in the pure spirit of the 1920s-1930s. The stylised floral fan decoration, applied with a stencil in orange and burgundy tones, is characteristic of the Art Deco aesthetic that marked the ceramics of this era: geometric lines, clean patterns, bold contrasts. Right-angled handle, slender silhouette. Good overall condition considering its age, with some small signs of use visible in the photos, nothing major. Dimensions: 25 cm high, 21.5 cm from spout to handle. Usage idea: as a vase for a lovely bouquet of dried flowers or branches, or simply as a statement piece on a sideboard, to evoke the graphic elegance of the Roaring Twenties.
