1930s lounge chair

Art deco armchair, fully restored. The seat tilts backwards on an axis (two original screws/nuts) and allows a footrest to be unfolded. The backrest can be tilted to 4 positions, thanks to a rack system. All the mechanics are vintage (dated 1933) Wood: blond walnut. Trim made in the traditional "upholsterer" way, hand stitched, with natural materials (jute webbing, springs, burlap, cotton canvas, coconut hair, animal hair, wadding) Cover: fabric: crushed velvet fadini borghi (house pierre frey) "stresa", and striped cotton fabric, braided and studded braided finish (inner cheeks).
