The iconic Cesca Chair was designed by Marcel Breuer in 1928 and became one of the most influential chair designs of the 20th century. It was one of the earliest mass-produced chairs to combine a tubular steel frame with a caned seat and backrest. An original Cesca Chair is part of the permanent collection of The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York. This beautiful high bar version of the Cesca Chair features a natural wood frame in a light walnut color, a woven cane seat and backrest, and a polished chrome cantilever base. The combination of warm wood, natural cane and tubular steel gives these bar-height chairs the same timeless mid-century modern character as the original Cesca design.
