A mid-century vintage 1950s/60s Ercol Windsor model 994 two-seat sofa and armchair set, designed by Lucian Ercolani, Ercol’s founder. The Windsor range is one of Ercol’s most iconic and successful collections. This sofa and armchair set, crafted in solid elm and beech, features the brand’s characteristic rounded spindle backs, curved armrests, and splayed turned legs connected by a stretcher. The frames are finished in Ercol’s ‘Golden Dawn’ dark stain, with cushions reupholstered in white bouclé fabric, replacing the original floral upholstery. Size sofa: Width 132cm. Depth of frame 85cm. Depth to cushion edge 90cm. Height of frame 82. Height to cushion edge 90cm. Size armchair: Width 70cm X depth 91cm X height 90cm X seat height 45cm. Material. Solid Elm. Solid Beech. Bouclé.
