Large jar in terracotta (sandstone) glazed in places, with two handles, a vinegar tree it seems to me, perfect for a decoration in a natural spirit, surrounded by plants. It probably dates from the early 20th century, perhaps earlier, and may have come from anjou. It is in its juice, with stains and marks, original or not. It is solid but a handle has been reglued (cleanly, no visible gaps), and there are small cracks at the handles and on the body, so it would be preferable to protect it from frost in winter to prevent water that could infiltrate from freezing in the cracks. The collar at the opening has a lack and has been surrounded by a cord (glued), perhaps to mask the lack or for a revisit during its long life. It also has a round hollow mark at the bottom, not very visible, that's where we put the faucet it seems to me, but which is clogged (i can not determine with which material). No idea of its interior condition, so to reserve for decorative use. These different signs testifying to his age remain relatively discreet, they are not obvious. It measures 47 cm in height, about 33 cm in diameter and weighs about 8 kg.
