Price per piece. 1950's. Model n°204 "rotating workshop seat with adjustable and articulated backrest". These chairs are characterized by a metal base: model with flat iron legs screwed on the cast iron hub; Elaborate mechanism: 3 adjustments, height of the seat, height of the backrest and inclination of the backrest; rotating seat that can lock. The bienaise headquarters were created and produced in the 15th arrondissement of paris by two americans franck and hary nelson. The multiple settings were particularly appreciated by typists especially in the 1930s, when the company was booming. The activity ended in 1970. Nb: the name bienaise is no longer visible under the still original painting. The seat of one of the 4 chairs was recently redone. Materials: steel and wood. Style: industrial. Color: wood.
