3/4 sideboard at support height Dresche or Flemish dreche

Very beautiful antique from the 19th century 3/4 sideboard, at support height, called dresche or dressoir among our flemish friends. Origin belgium. In solid oak, completely restored, has its original locks and key lock. It has been stripped to keep a raw, light oak appearance. Top patinated with the black shade from idparis, my favorite partner, then waxed (wax the old cabinetmakers). The frame is protected with products of the same brand. “natural wood”. Interior painted linen color from the charm range then varnished with idparis high protection varnish. This magnificent piece of furniture has kept its original brass handles and fittings, typical of this northern furniture. The top has the groove at the bottom, still present on dressers at this time. It made it possible to place beautiful plates or family favorite dishes vertically without them being able to slide. Superb condition, a buffet of character ready to cross other centuries.
