Antique Turned Wooden Dumbbell

A beautiful antique wooden dumbbell, dating from the late 19th to early 20th century. Hand-turned from solid wood, with two rounded ends and a simple central handle. The wood has developed a lovely warm patina over time, with visible grain, small scratches and traces of use that give the piece plenty of character. Originally made as a hand weight for gymnastics or physical exercise, it now works just as well as a sculptural decorative object. Beautiful on a stack of books, a desk, console or in an open cabinet. Dimensions: 23 × 8 cm. Material: solid wood. Condition: good antique condition with visible signs of age and use.
