Bust representing alexandre brongniart (1770-1847) son of the parisian architect alexandre théodore brongniart (1739-1813) in white limoges porcelain on a midnight blue porcelain base: in very good condition. "limoges" signature under the base. The plaster original is exhibited at the louvre museum in paris according to the french sculptor jean antoine houdon (1741 – 1828) he is one of the most important sculptors of the 18th century. Renowned for the realistic rendering of his works. Width 10 cm //height 20 cm //depth 8 cm//weight 0.330 kg.
