Napoleon period chest late XIX

Magnificent wooden chest of napoleon III period late 1800 in blackened wood and tapestry trim. The fabric, held by the original nails, is damaged in places but nevertheless remains very beautiful in its juice. This chest has been very carefully treated against insects but holes remain apparent. Black patina of slightly satin origin, the rear has been repainted in the black radish shade of ressource as well as the bottom right of the trunk where a wooden ornament was missing, in no way reducing the solidity of the trunk. A new wooden chest bottom has been created and repainted in cream as well as the bottom of the interior of the trunk. This authentic and incredible piece will give a crazy chic to your interior, you will store your blankets, plaids, bottles, etc... Its dimensions: 77 X d 43.5 X h 72.5 cm.
