Verona Suspension Lamp

Rare oversized Verona pendant by Sven Middelboe for Nordisk Solar Compagni, Denmark. An original vintage example of the design introduced in 1968, in champagne anodised aluminium. Measuring approximately 75 cm in diameter, this oversized version is particularly sought after in the rare champagne-gold finish. Its substantial scale and distinctive finish are the defining features of this example. A numbered label is present inside the ceiling canopy. Good overall vintage condition, with very minor wear and light surface scratches. A few lamellas are slightly bent and could be carefully straightened. Small specks of water-based paint from ceiling decoration could be removed with careful cleaning. Dimensions: diameter 75 cm; height 46 cm.
