Collection 8 glasses + 1 Saint Louis crystal carafe

Set of 8 crystal wine glasses, roemer model from the tommy st louis collection, accompanied by their carafe. All in excellent condition, without the slightest trace of wear or shine. Manufacture of the lot: probably in 1992. Under the carafe is stamped “225th anniversary”: the st louis house, founded in 1586, became “verrerie royale” in 1767 current price of new: €415 per glass, €750 per carafe glasses: h 19.8cm, diameter 8.7cm. The crystal of the foot is cut into a star, diamond cut ball then containing worked into bevels, flutes and pearls. Carafe: h 26/33cm without/with the cap note on the model: created in 1928, the roemer tommy is a timeless piece which has shone with its presence in great places and moments of our modern history. He notably dressed the table of king george VI in the hall of mirrors in versailles, where the heir to the throne, the future queen elizabeth, was also present.
