Set of Three Geometric Murano Glass Wall Sconces, Italy, 1980s

Set of Three Geometric Murano Glass Wall Sconces, Italy, 1980s. A striking set of three sculptural Murano glass wall sconces, handcrafted in Italy during the 1980s. Each sconce features a beautifully shaped frosted glass shade adorned with applied multicoloured glass canes in black, blue, red, yellow, green and turquoise, creating an abstract geometric composition that is both playful and sophisticated. The softly textured white glass gently diffuses light, while the vibrant applied decoration adds colour and visual interest whether illuminated or not. Mounted on white lacquered metal frames, these sconces embody the bold postmodern aesthetic associated with late 20th-century Italian design. Perfect for installation as a dramatic trio in a hallway, staircase, living room or hospitality interior, they can also be arranged individually or in pairs to create a unique lighting composition. Excellent vintage condition. The glass shades are free from chips or cracks. The white metal frames show only light age-related wear consistent with use.
