4 old christofle salt cellars in silver & glass

Set of 4 small vintage salt shakers including a glass container (good condition) which are marked on the base: orfèvrerie christofle a silver cap with 7 holes (oxidized) the set is presented in its original box (with visible marks) charles christofle founded the company that bears his name in 1830. Originally a jeweler, he purchased the patents for silvering and gilding by electrolysis in 1842. Now a goldsmith, he sublimates ceremonial articles and everyday objects: from jewelry to cutlery, from goldsmithing to statuary, from decorative objects to tableware.
