Walnut vessel

This walnut cabinet was handcrafted in the first part of the twentieth century. I cleaned it and sanded it thoroughly. I chose to paint it in an invigorating color: chlorophyll velvet finish from tollens. A floral paper magnifies its look. It has a large storage capacity. Solid and stable it has the traces of wear left by its long existence. Note that the windows are striped in places (see photo).
