Art Deco Salon by Paul Follot in pink velvet, circa 1920

Rare and superb living room set consisting of 5 elements: a bench / sofa / sofa, two armchairs and two accent chairs. The structures are made of mahogany. The backrests are carved with flowers. The seats and backrests are covered with an elegant pink velvet fabric. Art deco, france, circa 1920-1925. By paul follot (1877-1942), parisian cabinetmaker and decorator, disciple of eugène grasset and friend of maurice dufrène. He is one of the founding members of the society and the salon des artistes décorateurs (sda). He participated in many universal exhibitions, including that of 1925 where he realized the pavilion of pomone. Some of his work is exhibited at the musée d'orsay. In good condition.
