Chest trunk officer of marine wood lemon tree

Large 19th century navy officer trunk, solid lemon tree wood, corner horn reinforcements and brass handles. These trunks were used by officers on ships to store their personal belongings. They were made from rare and fragrant wood species, for their beauty and insect repellents. Often in camphrier, lemon wood is very rare, its blonde color brings a beautiful originality. Can be used as tv furniture, bar, coffee table, storage furniture... Clean interior dressed in scottish fabric, with moving separation. Some traces of restorations (clous on brass reinforcements) and wear of time, but this is a very beautiful antique piece of furniture. Dimensions: 95 X 45 X 43cm.
