Art Nouveau bistro table

Elegant small Art Nouveau table resting on a superb wrought iron base with curved and airy lines. The structure features a particularly refined design, highlighted by a base finished with four original castors, a rather rare detail that adds a lot of lightness and movement to the whole. The person from whom this table was acquired mentioned a possible provenance from the Arras factory. Without certainty or a stamp to confirm it, the quality of the wrought iron work and the overall aesthetic indeed recall certain French productions from the early 20th century, particularly in the spirit of garden and interior creations from that era. The circular top, likely replaced over time, is made of painted wood in a patinated white shade that contrasts beautifully with the dark metal structure. This combination gives it a presence that is both elegant and easy to integrate into different interior styles. The table is in very good overall condition with a beautiful old patina on the iron and some signs of use consistent with its age.
