Four-color museum poster by razzia paris summer 1982. “paris posters” Museum of posters and advertising. Razzia artist (real name Gerard Courbouleix Deneriazné in 1950) Modern and contemporary art. Format 42.5 x 60 cm. Four-color poster. New condition. Razzia|a brand image. Celebrated throughout the world, the French artist Gérard Courbouleix – Dénériaz, better known under the pseudonym “Razzia”, is surely the last of the poster painters still active. Born in Paris in 1950, he was originally a fashion photographer. His portraits of the greatest rock icons such as the Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd have gone around the world. From the field of professional photography he turned to graphic design and over the past 25 years he has created countless images of fast cars, fast women and even posters for Louis Vuitton. He lives and works in Paris. Razzia is one of the rare modern artists to have chosen posters as a form of expression. His work uses strong colors and images, often with art deco accents, to easily and effectively convey the advertising and marketing message.
