Finding a vintage bar cabinet is a treat, but finding a corner-fitting bar with a built-in revolving drum mechanism is an absolute rarity. Dating back to the 1960s, this piece perfectly embodies the cocktail-hour elegance of the Mad Men era. INGENIOUS DESIGN & THE REVOLVING CAROUSEL The most spectacular feature of this piece lies behind its sliding glass doors. The interior reveals a brilliant rotating drum (carousel) made of wood, specifically designed with custom-milled slots to securely hold your favorite liquor bottles, glasses, and barware. With a simple push, the entire inner section revolves smoothly, offering a highly sophisticated and entertaining way to serve your guests. SPACE-SAVING CORNER SHAPE From an interior design perspective, this cabinet is a problem-solver. Its triangular, corner-fitting footprint allows you to utilize dead space in a living room, dining room, or lounge. It offers immense storage capacity without protruding into the center of the room. The piece stands elegantly on classic Mid-Century tapered legs, finished in black. WOODWORK & UNCOMPROMISING RESTORATION The cabinet is veneered in premium European walnut. The top surface showcases exceptional craftsmanship, with the veneer leaves arranged to create a beautiful, symmetrical geometric pattern. We have completely and professionally restored this piece in our workshop. All old, degraded varnishes were meticulously stripped down to the bare wood. The surface was then finished with premium hard wax oil. This modern, eco-friendly treatment provides a natural, satin-matte touch that highlights the depth of the wood grain. Most importantly for a bar cabinet, this hard oil finish protects the wood against spilled alcohol, water, and daily use, ensuring it remains pristine for decades to come.
