Evert Jelle Jelles wall light for Raak Amsterdam

Wall lamp called "sterrenregen" (heavy rain), by evert jelle jelles for raak, 1960s. Dutch artist, died in 2002 at the age of 63. Jelles was a pioneer of sustainable and environmentally friendly design. He was one of the first designers to integrate recyclable materials into his projects. During his career, jelles won numerous awards for his work, including the prestigious dutch design award in 1993. His designs have also been exhibited in museums around the world, including the museum of modern art in new york and the stedelijk museum in amsterdam. Brushed aluminum in very good condition.
