Louis XV style china cabinet with ash burl veneer

A two-part china cabinet in oak and ash burl, dating from the early 19th century, in the Louis XV style. A piece from the Bresse region. Conforming to the Bresse tradition, this china cabinet combines burl wood with oak frames. The lower section opens with three doors surmounted by three drawers. The doors are richly molded. Beautiful marquetry adorns the lower rail. The upper cornice is molded and carved with a garland of foliage. Two small doors provide additional storage in the upper section.
