Tripod cowhide farm stool

Charming little stool whose seat in the shape of a cut circle is typical of the so-called cowherd stools, which were used for milking on farms. It is all wooden with a dark varnish. I cleaned it and slightly waxed it. It is in good general condition, stable and solid: the feet, inserted directly into the seat, do not move. But it also shows signs of its age: small scratches, a few small shards and slight discoloration on the varnish of the seat. It is 32 cm high, 27 cm wide, 17.5 cm deep. It weighs 1.2 kg.
