Spectacular round dining table from the 1970s, attributed to designer Boris Tabacoff. Its large circular transparent glass top rests on a remarkable sculptural base made of chrome-plated steel, composed of interlocking arcs. A very graphic and airy construction, characteristic of the Space Age vocabulary and Boris Tabacoff's work during the 1970s. The transparency of the top fully reveals the design of the base and gives this large table a light presence despite its generous dimensions. Overall vintage condition is good. The glass top is in good condition. The chrome base shows some marks, traces, and a slight patina due to age and use, visible in the photographs, but does not affect the overall stability. The table is stable and perfectly usable. A very beautiful piece of French design from the 1970s, particularly suited to a contemporary, modernist, or Space Age dining room.
