Vintage Johnson Brothers "Devon Sprays" set.

Vintage tea set in English earthenware by Johnson Brothers, decorated with Devon Sprays, consisting of 8 cups, 5 saucers, a sugar bowl with lid, and a milk jug. The ribbed shape is highlighted by a design of old rose roses, olive brown foliage, and small turquoise flowers. The saucers and shaped pieces bear the stamp "Devon Sprays – Johnson Bros – Made in England". The cups feature an impressed marking "Made in England" as well as traces of a green stamp. Founded in 1883 in Staffordshire, Johnson Brothers is one of the iconic English tableware manufacturers of the 20th century. In good vintage condition, with slight cracks present at the bottom of three cups and on the sugar bowl (see photos). Cups: height 6.5 cm – diameter 9 cm. Saucers: diameter 14.5 cm. An English set with classic lines, enlivened by a palette of old rose, brown, and turquoise.
