Serge goryl found the most suitable vintage base for the straw marquetry top he had imagined (one photo shows the base alone turned upside down and another the underside of the inlaid tray). Serge goryl makes a drawing upstream on a panel before sticking the straw. Each cut is made with a scalpel and the surplus is removed gradually for the most accurate rendering.
