Brass and glass coffee table in Jansen style circa 1960.

Mid-century low table in the style of creations by the Jansen house. Work from 1950 / 1970. Double thick glass tops with brass legs in column shapes and compass finishes. The glass tops are encased in the legs, giving the whole piece a very elegant lightness. The item is in very good overall condition. It shows a beautiful natural patina from time on the brass (see detailed photos). The upper glass has some micro-scratches from use, normal for its age, but no breaks, chips, or cracks. Its double top is extremely practical for displaying decorative objects or magazines while keeping the upper surface clear.
