Wall lamp wall lamp golden brass scissors accordion stem zigzag nautical industrial workshop 40s art deco mid century articulated retro vintage

A wall light / lamp from the 1940s (30s?). Extendable arm, accordion, scissors or zig zag and articulated head. Solid brass. I partially cleaned the very dirty parts but left the patina on the extendable scissor part, which I find magnificent with its different shades (small charming detail: the fixing nails are made of copper, which creates a superb contrast with the gold of the brass). It shines without being flashy. The electricity has been redone (e14 brass socket in place of the original b22, whose fixing ring had unsoldered from the lampshade + textile cable): it is ready to be installed for its new life.
