50s Jieldé workshop lamp

Icon of french industrial design of the 50s, the jielde brand was founded by jean-louis domecq from the initials of its name: jld. This brilliant inventor develops the articulation system without electrical wires. The contacts are provided by onduflex washers, which allows an infinite number of positions of the whole. This original workshop lamp is mounted on a solid oak base, tinted black. The electrification has been refurbished and to current standards (with essential earthing on a metal lamp) - its cotton yarn is anthracite mottled (wire and italian-made sockets).
