Monumental cut 43 cm in satin glass, Art Deco, by Verlys

Verlys (verrerie des andelys). Very important cut, or centerpiece, oblong shape, made of colorless molded-pressed glass with opalescent and satin finish; the animated border of wide stylized curved patterns, art deco, etched in acid. The decoration of the border presents pleasant reliefs (beautiful finish). Very beautiful french work of the first third of the twentieth century, art deco period, around 1930-40. Signature molded in the decor (within the border), in cursive letters, "a. Verlys france". Very beautiful and rare old object, of interesting quality, reminiscent of the productions of lalique or etling, sabino.||| dimensions: length of the cup, 43.00 cm; width of the cup, 39.00 cm; maximum height, 08.00 cm.||| condition ratio: the cut is in excellent condition. No alteration is reported (no splinter - no shock - no cracks or accidents); the glass is well preserved. We will point out some small traces of use, without any impact, which do not harm the interest of the object (it is, as a reminder, a second-hand object, having been used in the past and can, as such, bear marks of use); these are minimal and almost undetectable: a few scratches on the reverse of the base of the cut, without much incidence / two or three very fine interior scratches, almost invisible and, again, without any gravity / small perceptible traces of molding (original manufacturing marks). Overall, this very beautiful and important cut is, really, in perfect condition!.
