Coloured vase in blue and white glass paste – Murano bottle Italy

This charming vase is made of speckled glass paste with coloured glass. It is a piece of glassware, probably a work from a workshop in Murano, Italy. Made of blue and white glass paste, it has a swollen shape, a narrow neck, and a flared collar. A spiralled application of violet glass is applied hot, along with two small cabochons. This vase or small bottle has a very delicate soft, granular texture. It presents a lovely contrast between the violet spun glass elements and the blue and white glass paste. In overall good condition, I note discreet signs of wear. This vase measures 13 cm in height and 9 cm in diameter.
