Armchair by Miroslav Navratil For Cesky Nabytek, 1959

Iconinc mid-century design lounge chair by miroslav navratil, produced by cesky nabytek in czechoslovakia in 1959. Part of the original sticker visible.the model was designed for trienalle in milano where the czechoslovakian designers scored gold awards. The seat of the chair is made of a laminate in black color. The seat is finished with an original fabric in gray color and a small cushion to support the back. The chair is unique in design which stands on a elegant wooden construction. The chair is in an original condition, wood is restored and varnished in blond oak. The fabric is original and shows some wear on one of the from corner. The chair is still is a very good vintage condition and is ready to be used. One of the triumphs the the designer's work. It never comes out of fashion and looks wonderful in any interior.
