Twisted ball lamp in cracked ceramic, 1980s

Vintage cracked ceramic globe lamp with a graphic lampshade. 1970s-80s. The ceramic or earthenware base adopts an elegant twisted globe shape known as "melon, " enhanced by a relief ribbed design. Its cream white glazed finish features a beautiful network of original cracks, typical of the Hollywood Regency style of that era. To modernise its retro silhouette, a large cylindrical lampshade in blue-grey, adorned with geometric patterns in concentric circles. A successful combination that diffuses a soft and graphic light, ideal on a teak sideboard, a sofa end table, or a bedside table. Overall good condition, with some slight imperfections on the lampshade, and functional electrification. Size of the base excluding bulb (not provided): 23 X 23 X 29 cm.
