Cup & saucer Saint-Jean-de-Bretagne. 1951: inauguration of the new factory. The local clay is replaced by white earthenware. The potters abandon the "stick wheel" to take up brushes. These earthenwares are recognised by their decoration: geometric, rich in lines, inspired by Breton and Celtic motifs, in bright colours.
