Two Louis Philippe chairs re-labeled "Reptiles"

Two louis philippe chairs, late 19th century. They are re-lined with a modern velvet fabric, blue and black, inspired by "reptiles". Like any animal, the pattern is not symmetrical. It is a reconstructed pair, so they have a slight difference, for example on the record. A chair is in perfect condition, even if it was necessary to redo the seat according to traditional methods (straps and hair) The other suffered more in the wood: insect holes, which we treated, clumsy restorations... But old in the assemblages and a grafted foot, also old. The whole thing remains solid. Nevertheless, I recommend a moderate use of the whole, for example in room decoration, rather than daily at a desk. Seat height: 45 cm.
