The iconic Cesca Chair was designed by Marcel Breuer in 1928 and became one of the most influential chair designs of the 20th century. It was one of the earliest mass-produced chairs to combine a tubular steel frame with a caned seat and backrest. An original Cesca Chair is part of the permanent collection of The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York. This beautiful example features a natural wood frame in light walnut color, cane seat and backrest, and a polished chrome cantilever base. The combination of light warm wood, natural cane and tubular steel gives the chair its timeless mid-century modern character. Price for a set of 4. The chairs are in mint vintage condition. The cane, wooden frame and chrome base are exceptionally well preserved. Please see photos for more details.
