1970s 3-Seater sofa by Kho Liang Ie for Artifort, Netherlands

A nice 3-seater sofa designed by kho liang ie and manufactured by artifort in the netherlands around 1970. This iconic piece has a bent white metal base. The seat, back and cushions are newly upholstered in a beautiful light blue fabric which matches the frame really nicely. This use of shapes creates a nice harmonious design to this modern piece! The gently tilted seat adds really nicely to the seating comfort. A most recognizable piece of mid-century dutch design and a comfortable and stylish addition to any interior! It remains in good, vintage condition with new upholstery and minor wear to the frame consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
