Asparagus barbotine dish

Asparagus dish in slip – artichoke and asparagus decoration superb antique asparagus dish, in slip, dating from the beginning of the 20th century. It has a richly colored relief decoration of large artichoke leaves, with in its center a fixed trompe-l'oeil drainer representing a bunch of asparagus delicately tied with a ribbon. A decorative and functional piece, emblematic of the vegetable service of the late 19th – early 20th centuries. Good general condition. Dimensions: length: 39 cm – width: 30 cm – height: 10 cm.
