Old asparagus barbotine service

A very fine set of turquoise glazed slipware, consisting of six asparagus plates (Ø 26 cm) and a large matching platter (35 cm) with a relief decoration of bamboo and vine leaves. French slipware production, late 19th – early 20th century (circa 1890-1910). Condition: • Very good overall condition: glossy glazes, clear reliefs. • Note only: a small chip on the back of one plate, invisible when displayed.
