Danish animal sculpture from the 1960s representing a walking bear, created by the ceramic artist Knud Kyhn for Royal Copenhagen. Reference 20155, this piece is made of stoneware with the famous "Sung" glaze developed by Kyhn, characterised by its marbled shades of brown, cream, ochre, and bluish grey. The piece bears: The model number 20155 (incised and painted) The mention DENMARK with a line over the "n" which may indicate the year 1963. The three blue waves of Royal Copenhagen. The signature KK of Knud Kyhn incised into the clay. Workshop marks under another paw. Condition. Very good state of preservation. No restoration observed. Bright glaze well preserved.
