Pair of brass and opaline glass wall lights, model S-1986, designed by Hans-Agne Jakobsson in the 1960s for his company Hans-Agne Jakobsson AB in Agnes. Good condition. Price for the pair. Made of brass, it features a conical glass shade held by a perforated shade holder. The lamp is equipped with a standard E14 socket and a new textile cord. The Swedish industrial designer Hans-Agne Jakobsson, born on the island of Agnes in 1919, began his career as an apprentice carpenter during his teenage years. After pursuing studies in architecture, he joined General Motors as a designer. In 1951, he founded Hans-Agne Jakobsson AB in the picturesque locality of Agnes.
