Old suitcase travel trunk

Magnificent old wooden travel trunk / suitcase, soft green in color, circled with wood, early 20th century. Reinforced with wooden crosspieces and metal parts on the friction areas. The clasps work. Missing key. 1 central cardboard and leather carrying handle. 3 hinges on the back. To close, key button to push outwards and clip-on latch. Easy to open and very convenient to hold in the open position. On one side, original travel label (Paris-St-Lazare Le Havre). Original monogram near the handle. Woven interior repainted in the same color as the exterior. Beautiful decorative and practical effect (large storage capacity). Ideal alone or in accumulation. Condition: has been repainted inside / out. Presents irregularities without consequence. Traces of wear on the exterior paper covering (warped in places) paint covered with layers of matte varnish which remains fragile, subject to impacts and scratches. Presence of leaks and missing parts in places. Small white marks. Patinated (oxidized) hardware, some covered with golden wax. Small dents in the metal reinforcements.
