Portieux vase in turquoise blue opaline 12cm

This lovely little old vase is made of dark blue opaline. This vase comes from the glass and opaline factory of vallerysthal or portieux. It is present in the portieux catalogue of 1933 and before - see photographs. These collectibles are called "fairground opalines: dating from the late 19th century or early 20th century, these pressed-moulded glass opalines were sold at popular fairs or markets. The shape is delicate, beautifully flared at the collar, this vase is adorned with rose cast in relief, godrons and stylized lilies. In good general condition. Dimensions: 12 X 7 cm. I report traces of the molds on the subject and cooking hair. The opaline features marbling and transparency games.
