Small carved wooden floor lamp with oval shade

Vintage table lamp, solid carved wood base, printed lampshade, found in Alsace and updated in my Strasbourg workshop. Table lamp, solid wood base. Beautiful "honey" stain. Estimated period of origin: 1980s-1990s. Origin: France. Style: it is a piece that is at once sober, artistic and poetic, which could be classified in a register of author's or artisanal design. The solid wood with a smooth finish and a simple curve evokes the organic and minimalist design of the 80s-90s. This round and soft, almost sculptural shape, recalls certain Japanese or Nordic decorative objects of the same period, where the work of natural wood was central. Refurbished oval lampshade, geometric printed linen. Height of lamp with shade: 38 cm. Height of lamp base: 15 cm. Width of lamp base: 18 cm. Width of lower shade: 22 cm. Depth of the top lampshade: 11.5 cm. It is designed to work with an e14 bulb. New electrical cable and socket. Indoor lighting: suitable for all rooms, excluding damp areas.
