Large oval wedding vase in paris porcelain with japanese decoration painted with characters on the facade and nicely carved around the edge with water lily flowers standing out, enhanced with fine gold gilding not showing too much wear. The back of the vase has no decoration because this type of ornamental vase was positioned facing forward, with its back to the altar. In good condition, slight "fel" in the cover under the base. Rare piece due to its decor and size, art nouveau, circa 1900. Ht: 37 cms - l: 34cms - d: 21cms.
