For information, colette biquand (1936-2016) attracted by graphic and plastic arts did her school in paris and then joined the workshop of annie martin (wife of the famous sculptor e. Martin). In summer courses in 1963 and 1964 for an introduction to sandstone at the castle of ratilly (yonne), she was conquered by this material. For about ten years, she taught filming and enamel theory. From 1970 to 1980, she created in gennevilliers (hauts-de-seine) a "sandstone workshop" where she taught and also baked her own pieces while continuing to go to ratilly in the summer months. She created her own workshop in gourmay en bray (seine-maritime) which burned following a fire after 5 years of activity which will make her return to ratilly. Undeterred, she found a barn in the hamlet "les lacs" in colméry (nièvre) where she created sculptural pieces.
