Iguzzini by Massimo Vignelli, table lamp, lucite metal, Italy 1980

Magnificent light fixture designed by the Italian-American designer couple Massimo and Lella Vignelli, for the famous Italian house I Guzzini. The large lucite diffuser is tulip-shaped; inside a pure aluminum reflector provides optimum brightness. The silver body delicately reflects the light in streaks. The lamp is placed as if balanced on its base in the shape of a discreet and stable inverted dome. It gives off a feeling of lightness as if weightless on its support. Lamp signed by the designers and the publisher. The lamp is sold individually, the price displayed is for one lamp.
