Edmond J Spence Modernist Mid-Century Checkerboard Buffet

We are delighted to offer for sale this very rare and highly collectible Edmond J Spence Checkerboard sideboard in light walnut, circa 1960. This interesting sideboard, created by an American designer in the mid-20th century, is made of walnut, with a slightly different coloration from the two previously mentioned mid-century sideboards. The most intriguing element is the façade - the individual drawers create a unique irregular texture effect, making this piece of furniture one of a kind. This piece is very elegant and adds a touch of significance, value, and interest to any decor, with a rare depth. The condition is very good; it has been cleaned, waxed, and polished from top to bottom. There are signs of age-related patina and wear. Dimensions: Height 82 cm, Width 198.5 cm, Depth 51 cm. Vintage items such as leather seating exhibit natural patina with creases and wear.
