Antique walnut table/desk, renovated | Emile

Here is Émile, an antique walnut table, carefully restored in my workshop. Careful sanding, thorough cleaning, and the application of a natural, colorless wax: each step was designed to reveal the beauty of the walnut wood and preserve its original patina. The drawer knob was replaced with a white porcelain knob with a terracotta pattern, highlighting its authentic character. With its simple lines, compact size, and ideal depth, Émile adapts to any space: a side desk, writing table, dressing table, or elegant console table. A piece of character, robust, stable, and full of soul, it combines functionality and aesthetics. The wood was carefully sanded to highlight its raw material and reveal the natural beauty of the walnut. The traces of time were deliberately preserved, testifying to its history and authenticity. The piece was then protected with a professional, colorless wax, which enhances the wood's grain while ensuring good resistance to daily use and easy maintenance. The drawer knob, not original, has been replaced with a white porcelain model decorated with a terracotta pattern, a delicate and warm touch that underlines the unique character of the piece of furniture.
