Pair of dark oak armchairs from the 1950s attributed to Charles Dudouyt. Their compact size, with low seats, is particularly appreciated. The solid oak structure, with its raw appearance, contrasts elegantly with the light boucle wool-style upholstery. The legs are adorned with lovely grooves at the front, and the stretchers connecting the legs make these armchairs very sturdy. The details of the spheres at the top of the seat, as well as the spheres at the front of the armrests, give the whole piece a crafted look. Overall in good condition, with some old signs of woodworm in places.
